A jeep safari is popular way to explore the park and spot these majestic creatures. However for one mother daughter duo what should have been thrilling ride turned into a life threatening experience.
In an undated video circulating online rhinoceros is seen calmly walking behind jeep as three tourist vehicles approach right turn. As the first two jeeps accelerate young girl and her mother suddenly fall out of the jeep crashing to the ground. The pair screams for help as the scene grows even more terrifying.
In the background second rhino is seen charging towards the tourists vehicle its anger evident. At the sight of the approaching animal the third jeep quickly reverses to avoid danger.
The incident is said to have taken place in the Bagori range of Kaziranga National Park. Fortunately the two women narrowly escaped injury managing to avoid the rhinos and climb back into the jeep after the harrowing fall.
A fellow tourist filmed the shocking event and the video has since gone viral sparking widespread concern about safety during safari tours.
In response to the incident the Kaziranga administration has launched an inquiry and urged tourists to exercise caution while on safari in the park.
