This clash has further escalated the already intense debates in Parliament.

During the ongoing Winter Session of Parliament Congress MP Manickam Tagore raised an Adjournment Motion in the Lok Sabha to discuss Union Home Minister Amit Shah remarks about Dr. B.R. Ambedkar during a debate on the Constitution in the Rajya Sabha. The Congress party has demanded an apology from Amit Shah and his resignation accusing him of insulting Dr. Ambedkar who is the architect of the Indian Constitution.
