Kartik Aaryan shared his experiences from his early days of struggle revealing that he signed a film purely for financial reasons.
One of the most bankable stars of his generation Kartik Aaryan has built a successful film career. He has seamlessly transitioned from commercial blockbusters to more serious roles showcasing his versatility. In a recent interview with pink villa, the actor discussed the commercial aspects of his profession and admitted that early in his career he accepted a film purely for financial reasons. Yes I have (laughs). I did it in the beginning he revealed.
When explaining his choice he added I won’t specify which film but at that time I was in a phase where I didn’t have enough money and had to take it. I felt like I had no other option. I couldn’t wait any longer for films and I wasn’t getting many opportunities so I did a film for the money. I hate to admit it but I did.
During the interview he also discussed the high fees actors command for movies. Everything has a calculation. It’s a business model. If everything aligns correctly then it makes sense. If your satellite, digital and music rights are already benefiting the producers and the numbers add up especially if the audience comes to see you then it makes sense he clarified.
Kartik Aaryan upcoming film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is set to release in theatre’s this Diwali. This horror comedy is the third instalment of the franchise and is directed by Aneez Bazmee. On Tuesday he shared a teaser for the title track on Instagram featuring a collaboration between Diljit Dosanjh American rapper Pitbull and original singer Neeraj Shridhar.
