In a candid conversation on the YouTube channel Unfiltered with Samdish, Rajkummar Rao took the opportunity to clarify misunderstandings regarding his financial situation. He expressed that he isn’t as wealthy as many people assume.
Honestly I don’t have as much money as people think I do. They probably believe I have Rs.100/- crore but I don’t. I have EMIs to pay. I bought a house and the EMI is pretty hefty Rajkummar shared.
He continued It’s not like I can just walk into a showroom and say How much is that car? Sir Rs.6/- crore. Give it to me! I simply don’t have that kind of cash.
When asked if he could afford a car priced at Rs.50/- lakh Rajkummar paused. Sure I could buy it but I did have to think about it he explained. Buying a Rs.50/- lakh car would stress me out a bit. Right now I could buy a car worth Rs 20 lakh without worrying.
